CWG 2022: Malayali athletes Eldhose Paul, Abdulla Aboobacker bag gold and silver in triple jump 07 August 2022

Birmingham: Malayali athlete Eldhose Paul led India’s historic 1-2 finish in men’s triple jump at the Commonwealth Games as he won a rare gold medal in track and field events and was followed by fellow Kerala athlete Abdulla Aboobacker here on Sunday. The 25-year-old athlete from Ernakulam jumped to his personal best of 17.03m to clinch the gold.
